Adjustible beds

Your sleep quality sometimes can depend on you. If you have a crazy sleep schedule and feeling tired has because a way of life for you, it may be time to look at a few different factors. It’s important to have undisturbed sleep and be able to pass through the stages of sleep in order to properly get the rest that you need. Sometimes, the problem is the bed itself; the mattress specifically. If you mattress is to hard, to soft, sagging, old, brand new or any other kind of imperfect, it can be frustrating trying to get to sleep. It may be time for you to see about getting a new mattress. Let’s look at a few different types of mattresses and see which might be best for you.

Adjustable Mattresses
Adjustable mattresses can be raised or lowered depending on your preference. Some adjustable mattresses can have the softness factor adjusted as well. The real fancy adjustable mattresses can be separated so that each side of the bed has it’s own controls. This is great if you share a bed with someone who prefers sleeping completely different to you. One of the best things about this type of mattress is that it can follow you through the years. It lasts a long time, but that isn’t what I’m referring to; I’m talking about the stages of life. If you get pregnant, you can adjust the mattress to help you sleep on your side more comfortably, if you get sick, you can raise the mattress to help your sinuses drain, if you break a bone or have surgery then the bed can be arranged to accommodate that.

Memory foam Mattresses
These mattress are also known as visco elastic foam mattresses. They are made of a high density polyurethane foam that makes up the support system. This is typically put in the upholstery layer of the mattress. The foam conforms to the shape of the sleeper and fills in areas that need more support. Some people love it, some people hate it. If you toss and turn a lot in your sleep you may hate it at first but it will actually be very good for you because of the contouring properties that will keep you in place more once you are asleep. You can also purchase memory foam pillows that literally remember that way your head was for most of the time you were sleeping. The great thing about this is that whatever position you were in for most of the night is probably how you get your highest quality of sleep.

Water Bed
These were much more popular a few decades ago but are still worth mentioning. A water bed literally uses water as the support system. You can get a hard sided or soft sided bed. The hard sided bed holds the chamber of water inside a wooden frame whereas a soft side bed holds the water in a foam frame inside fabric. Various kinds of material are used to cover the chamber of water including foam and fiber. These kind of bed or mattress looks just like a regular bed and fits with any kind of decor. The great thing about these beds is that you can have the option to have a free flow bed where the water is allowed to slosh around inside the chamber or you can opt for a waveless bed where they put in fiber in order to stifle the water motion without losing the support system.

There are so many different kinds of mattresses and beds available these days, it would be impossible to cover them all. However, these three will give you an idea of just how different each mattress can be. If one doesn’t work for you, move on; you will definitely find something that will be just right for you. Of course, the job of finding a mattress becomes a little more difficult if you have to share with someone but there are answers for that to, just see the first type of mattress mentioned.

You will see a noticeable difference in the way you feel after you get the correct mattress for you and are able to sleep through the night again.
